Breast and Cervical Cancer Program

The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program provides free mammograms, breast exams, pelvic exams, Pap tests and education. 

To be eligible for screening services, women must live in Illinois, have no insurance, insurance with limited coverage, or a high insurance deductible, and not receiving services through Medicare Part B.  There are no income requirements. 

  • Women ages 35 to 64 may be eligible for breast cancer screening services. 
  • Women ages 21 to 64 may eligible for cervical cancer screening services. 
  • Younger women may be eligible for services if they have symptoms or increased risk factors. 

Women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may also be eligible to receive free or low-cost treatment benefits.
