A full-time dental assistant is needed in the Dental Clinic. This person assists the dentists and hygienist in the care and treatment of patients and performs duties in the field of reception, chair-side assisting, inventory and records. Individual will be cross trained for office assistant responsibilities, which include scheduling patients, answering and routing incoming phone calls, collecting payments, and office support. The individual must be friendly, courteous, and able to establish trust with patients of all ages.
Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (36.25 hours/week)
Education & Experience: Graduate of a dental assistant program with experience preferred. Must have certificates in Coronal Polishing and Monitoring of Nitrous Oxide Sedation, and BLS certification.
Hourly Rate: $18.50/hour

Join the mobile crisis response team in the Prairie Counseling Center. Counselors complete community assessments and recommend stabilization and support for people in crisis. Services may include emotional support, safety planning, and voluntary/involuntary placement.
Rate of Pay: $17–$20 per hour for hours worked
On-Call Pay: $25/day on weekdays, $33/day on weekends, and $37.50/day on holidays
Education & Experience: Must meet Medicaid 132 requirements for a Mental Health Professional (MHP), possess a Medicaid-approved bachelor’s degree, or have a degree in any field with two years of supervised clinical experience. Must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.

Prairie Counseling Center is seeking a full-time Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations. This person supervises front office staff, manages scheduling, supports compliance efforts, and ensures a welcoming environment for clients.
Job Type: Full-time (35-hour week)
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, Day Shift
Hourly Rate: Starting at $15/hour
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in business or healthcare preferred. 3+ years of office management experience (healthcare/behavioral health preferred). Knowledge of EHR, insurance billing, Microsoft Office, and HIPAA/OSHA compliance required.

The Dental Clinic seeks a dental hygienist to work on an as-needed basis. This position helps provide dental care, related clinic procedures, and community dental health education when covering for the regular hygienist.
Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Schedule: Intermittent based on need
Hourly Rate: $40/hour
Education & Experience: Must be a licensed dental hygienist in Illinois and a graduate of an approved program. Experience preferred but not required.

We are seeking a Spanish interpreter on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include accurate and effective translation of spoken and written communication for clinic staff and patients.
Clinic Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Schedule: Intermittent, no set hours per week
Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Education & Experience: Fluency in Spanish is required. Prior interpreting experience preferred.
