Family Planning
The mission of the Family Planning program is to provide voluntary comprehensive
family planning services to low income individuals of reproductive age,
including education and counseling to make a personal choice. All services are confidential. Contraceptive options are discussed and
dispensed. Education and counseling are
directed toward health promotion and disease prevention. Medical services include physical exam, pap
smear, breast cancer screening, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing for
Gonorrhea and Chlamydia according to the Illinois Department of Public Health
guidelines. Blood pressure, weight,
height, urine, hematocrit and pregnancy tests are available, if needed. Emergency contraception is available. Male services are also available. Call for an appointment!
