Illinois Diabetes Control and Prevention


The Bond County Health Department is offering a program to help prevent and control diabetes.  This program will provide information, support and resources to people with diabetes in Bond County.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OF THESE RISKS?

 

     * Obesity

     * Family history of Diabetes Mellitus

     * Inactive lifestyle

     * Over the age of 45

     * History of diabetes during pregnancy

     * Delivered a baby over 9 pounds

     * High blood pressure

     * High cholesterol

 

If so, you can contact the Diabetes Program at the Bond County Health Department to learn more about the condition.  When you become a member of this program, you will receive the Diabetes Lifelines Newsletter.  You will also become more aware of local educational opportunities and services.
